The High Streets Mall

As mentioned previously in a post, there’s a new shopping center going in a few miles south of us.  My neighbor Nancy, left a comment in my previous with a link to the website for the development.   The shopping center is being called The High Streets.

The developer is Real Retail and they’ve behind some nice projects in the Puget Sound like Pacific Place, Kent Station and University Village.

Here’s what they are saying about the project on their website:

East of Seattle and just off the new Sunset/Highlands Drive Interchange on 1-90, The High Streets is an exciting new mixed-use marketplace in Issaquah, one of the fastest-growing and most affluent areas in Western Washington. The High Streets offers retail tenants a prime opportunity to gain access to shoppers and visitors with urban sensibilities, tastes, and income from the surrounding upscale communities. The retail mix will include a selection of internationally recognized retailers as well as distinct local favorites and neighborhood retail services. There will be over 750,000 square feet of retail space consisting of an upscale grocer, a selection of casual and sophisticated restaurants, a first-class hotel, a health club, and a cinema to complement the 3 million square feet of planned office development. Opening Fall of 2009 with its best-of-everything location, lifestyle, and residential population, The High Streets is where you’ll want to be. For more information, visit http://www.thehighstreets.com

I am really looking forward to seeing the design concepts.
