This photo will go down as one of my favorites from an amazing summer break.  Josie and I went out yesterday with a bunch of folks from Skate Like A Girl to the Skatebarn in Renton.  Skatebarn is an amazing facility with over 45,000 square feet of ramping goodness.  Extra bonus is that on Wednesdays its free for girls.

The half pipe was to tall for Josie to get to the top.  As she struggled to climb up, her fellow skaters swept into action helping her reach the top.  The girls formed a human chain and helped pull her to the top.

Awesome. 

Great to see Josie following in old Dad’s footsteps.

It goes without saying I’m being reminded of some important lessons on my sabbatical.
