Nice!  Slashdot.org has added user tagging as a beta feature.

Nice!  We added tags to Channel 9 last June and then to Microsoft Gadgets in December of 2005.  The tagging implementation on gadgets is a bit more interesting as they are user generated tags and we also have a nifty tag search in our gallery with an intellisense like look up. 

Here’s an example search for RSS on the Microsoft Gadgets Gallery:

I think we should definitely think about user tagging for Channel 9 videos.  We’ve been heads down though as a team working on another new thing that should see the light of day very soon. 

Robert’s been alluding to it a bit on his blog.  Can’t wait to talk more.
