Just a quick note to say that I am very thankful that our power came back on last night around 8:00 pm.  A couple of days before Puget Sound Energy said it would.  This whole experience has gotten me to think a lot about proper disaster preparedeness.  With living on the plateau we try to keep extra supplies on hand, some cash and even some MREs.  

Expect a follow up post soon with some ideas on how we can be better prepared at home and also on a local level soon.  Thanks to all the linemen who got us up and running again.
