Today in Marc’s passing my thoughts, prayers and a heavy heart go out to his family and close friends.  

I had the pleasure of meeting Marc Orchant a number of years back.  We both shared a passion for Getting Things Done.  Marc was an awesome writer and left behind a great online history through Download Squad, OfficeZealot and more recently Blognation. 

In moments like this I am often short on the right words to express grief and will turn to music.  Two songs I’ll play are The Dance by Garth Brooks and We’re Here For a Good Time by Trooper.  Thhese artists put into song how I believe life should be lived, how to live every day like it is our last and that you never know when your days here will be done. 

My wife knows these are songs I hope are played for me when my work here is done.
