Let’s play a round or two of Golf together…

Years ago when I lived in Canada I played a fair amount of golf.  At the company I worked for it was pretty much company policy that your customer meetings were to be done on the greens.  This did little to improve my game (I’m a total hack), but I did make many friends and the customers loved it.  Nothing beats four hours of fun with friends accompanied with great scenery and a few cold drinks. 

I’ve long since quit playing golf (life as an Evangelist for Windows and trying to be a great dad does not make time for regular golfing).  The only golf I get to play anymore is on my XBOX with Links 2004.  At least with LiveI can talk to some random individual while I play. 

Today it hit me, what if we got an XSN Sports Group together for Links?   Make it open to anyone who’s interested in Software, Longhorn or Geeky stuff in general.  Each week we can get together play a few rounds of golf, talk about software and have some fun.

This could be fun.  I know many folks working at Microsoft who have XBOX Live accounts, but more importantly I see that many of you do too.
