In-n-Out Burger Calorie Total

1 Jan

I love In-n-Out Burger too Robert! For “fun” I thought I would do a calorie count on my favorite order from In-n-Out burger.

First meal of 2005? In-n-Out cheeseburger. Translation: hell with my resolutions! :-)

By the way, for those of my coworkers stuck in Seattle there are two things I miss about California and both of them are in this picture: blue skies and In-N-Out.

Jeff’s Favorite Food OrderSplashtopani2
Double-Double w. onion – 673 calories, 41 g fat
Fries – 400 calories, 18g fat
Chocolate Shake – 690 calories, 36g

Total calories: 1763, Total Fat: 95

DbldblTo put things in perspective here for the first phase of 20/20, I kept my total daily calories in the 1500–1650 range and my total fat at 35–50. This one meal would be more than my daily total allowance for calories. Now that I have reached my goal weight of 157, I’m working on increasing my calories up to 2300 per day. (I’m now running 5 days a week too).

I’m not saying don’t eat at in-n-out burger Robert. The food is awesome, fresh and I know I’ll still go there when I go to visit. Just keep it in moderation. I want to be Scobleized for many years ahead.

One last note on In-n-Out, did you know that stamped on their burger wrappers and drink containers are links to bible passages?

The wrap used for the “Double-Double” (two burger patties and two slices of cheese) lists Nahum 1:7: The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. More information here.

P.S. I don’t consider myself *stuck* in Seattle, I love it here and the skies were blue in Sammamish today!
