Wow, has it already been a year since we launched Channel 9? That was a crazy week…

I remember the moment we got Slashdotted and wondering would we scale? (We did with ease)
I remember Rob Howard calling me and saying, “Wow you shipped on a beta of community server.. Awesome”
I remember thinking that hey it would be cool if we had a Wiki (3 days before launch) and Bryn made it so

Those were fun times.

Sure, I’ve moved onto another job in our Evangelism team which caused some speculation about the future of Channel 9 which was dead wrong. Channel 9 was a small project which exceeded our wildest dreams and although I’ve moved on I’ll be a Channel 9 guy for the rest of my life. In fact some days I think every Microsoft employee spend a week working on the Channel 9 team.
