Baby Boom at Microsoft is Changing the Parties

Robert talks about the great part last night at Eric Ewings, man what a blast! These have been going on for years and for me each time it serves as reunion of sorts. The conversations were all over the map (not just Microsoft talk) Doug Seven and I badgered Robert about how he is so wrong about the new Mustang. Kevin Briody and I talked about hosting some Blogger meetups on the Sammamish Plateau and Amy Sorakas and Doug’s wife talked about wakeboarding injuries.

On the reunion side I saw folks from the old Sitebuilder Network Days at Microsoft and we playing 2 Degrees of Seperation from MSDN Online. (At the party you could trace almost anyone back to at least 2 degrees of seperation to either Sitebuilder Network or MSDN Online.)

As the years ago on it seems the Microsoft parties are changing for the better with the introduction of Kids. It seems that about 6 years ago at Microsoft there was a baby boom. Now that the children are getting old enough to bring along and of course since Eric has a pool (a rare occurence in Seattle) the kids really had something fun to do.  In fact Josie says its the best mom and dad party she’s every been too. It was a blast watching her jump off the diving board, lead konga lines in the pool and taking intermittent breaks stuffing herself full of Oreos, Hot Dogs and Ice Cream.

So thank you Eric for such a great party and thanks for making it family friendly.
