I should be thankful that I got delayed in Minneapolis for 7 hours last weekend, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have came up with the idea for AirPower. Wow, the AirPower Wiki has really taken off. Once we get some further traction with it, I might code up a little DB or play with Wikitalk to automate it a bit. But right now, the wiki is working great!
This really got picked up faster than I had thought… Here’s some links to the discussion…
- Looking for power outlets in world airports? – Ricardo Carreon
- Find an outlet with the AirPower Wiki – Lifehacker (Sweet! Lifehacker is one of my favorite blogs)
- WiFi Wiki – InFlightHQ.com
- Find those elusive power outlets at airports – Geeky Traveller
Many more links via the freshly redesigned Technorati. Now let’s get the wiki populated.
Next time you are at the airport take a moment to note any power outlets and document their gate / terminal location. Once you get connected or when you get home visit the AirPower Wiki and update it with the location of the power outlets.
Thank you!
