Merry Christmas everyone.

I can imagine Webkinz broke all sorts of sales records for itself, today. As I was saying back in October:

Mark my words, Webkinz will be one of the top toys this holiday seasons for kids ages 6 - 13+.

The site has been overloaded today, making it difficult and sometimes impossible login at times due to a large volume of traffic. Here's a screenshot from the login page.

I just love this product and so does Josie.  Especially the way they bridge the virtual world with a real plush toy, how they make the kids work for points and actually the games are a lot of fun. Now if only we could get them to adopt Silverlight. ;-)

If you are looking for the next Facebook, its WebKinz. It is definitely succeeding at getting them while they are young.
