Ok, so Robert hates the 5 things meme and so does Hugh.  Maybe I am a sap, but I've really enjoyed it.  A number of folks tagged me and I enjoyed responding back.  Even more important I was able to learn a few more things about the bloggers I read and friends.

What makes it interesting to me is that even though many of us write about the adventures in our lives in detail and we seem to watch each other live through transpaency, it really only goes so far.   We really don't get to know each other.  There is only so much you get to learn about the person through their blog.  I know some bloggers that write very differently than how they act or talk in person.  Others are driven to write due to unique experiences they've encountered.  

Through the 5 things meme I've been able to learn a bit more about what makes people tick.   Robert himself actually can come across quite differently in person than through his blog and that is why I tagged him.
