So this afternoon we bought Josie a new bike.  Its called Rosie (that’s the model name :-) ) and is made by Electra Bikes.  It has a very retro look / feel and is a breath of fresh air from the mass produced children’s bicycles you see at Target. 

Josie loves the bike and I find it soothing watching her ride something that looks right out of the 1950s. Very nostalgic.  Its amazing how quickly when you find a quality product like this where design comes first how quickly you become a repeat customer.  We’re putting an order in for a Hawaii custom from Electra for Lauri to ride along with Josie.

I am not sure yet what type of bike I want to get.  I used to race BMX as a teen and although some of the retro bikes are cool, I’m really interested in getting a 24” Redline.  Ok — Back to the game :-)  Go Seahawks!
