All of the contingencies for our home sale were removed yesterday. The contigencies we put in place on the new home that we're buying will also be removed today.  It looks like evertyhing is moving forward just fine.  (knock on wood).

One minute our home was sold, then the next the other the deal would fall through.  Truth be told our home actually sold three times until the deal was finally done.  Our very first buyers utilimately bought the home in the end.   All in all it was a total stressball.  Deal on / no deal.  You know its stress when you have that burning feeling in your upper back. Lots of tension and pressure.  Actually at one point I think we were ready to call it quits and move into an RV ;-) 

It will be great though to finaly move into the new place. It even gets even better though.   I got hit by the flu bug bad yesterday....

I went into work nice and early (I am trying to get in around 7:00 or 7:30 now a days) and was getting things done, I felt really good.  I had a few meetings and after the second finished I started to feel real queesy... 

• I ran into Steve (my awesome boss who never blogs), told him I was on my way home -- he said get home FAST.
• He must have known something or I looked worse than my I felt, I got in my car and headed home. 
• I called my wife (turns out her and Josie were also both sick at home) - all of Josie's classmates in 1st grade are also out sick.
• I stopped by Safeway to pick up some Gatorade, while loading up the cart I was overcome with heat and got super queasy)
• I had to run out of the store to avoid messing up their shiny floors. 

End of story?  The store floors were safe, but not the parking lot next to my car.

Gross. 

I spent all day yesterday in bed.
