New Logo for 10 and an all new look

Wednesday, July 05 2006 - Uncategorized

I just posted an update entry over on the 10 site giving folks a sneak peak at what we're calling 10 Version 1.0. This is a big release for us and really ties the whole experience together.  We're also continously tweaking and updating our content style and tone.  Jesse (formerly of Apple, Engadget and Phonescoop) recently joined the team and will focus on bringing us both video and text content to 10.

Not shown are some Ajaxy Forums that will also be released with the site.  We're trying to create a bit more interesting model for conversation (think Slashdot comments with Ajax).  We also have a new logo in this release.  Maxwell, a faithful member since the launch of 10 is the winner of our custom PC logo contest

Thanks Maxwell, his logo is definitely an improvement upon our original creation.  No big Digg V3 like launch party planned for the launch although the team will probably come over to my house for beer and pizza.  ;-) As soon as this baby is out the door we're onto getting this codebase working on Channel 9 (preserving the look, feel and tone of Channel 9 of course) and adding a bunch of features that folks hopefully will love.
