I'm hiring and with that I'm spreading the word about the open positions I have to a lot of folks.
Today while describing the jobs, I got to talking about Robert Scoble. I often get asked about what Robert did best for Channel 9. There were a lot of things Robert did great for Microsoft especially outside of Channel 9 and I could go on for awhile for those things.
For Channel 9 though, it was Robert's hunger for stories. It is really hard to find someone with a hunger for stories like Robert. He'd work the hallways, distribution lists and any connection he had to find stuff that was going on inside Microsoft. With Channel 9, even today, it can be hard to find or get access to stories. You have to work relationships, beg plead and sometimes hang out in front of offices to get peoples time.
You know in many ways Robert was much like Yogi Bear. He was on a mission to find some honey and man did he get a lot of it. Lots of great content for Channel 9. Every once in a while though Robert would snag a picnic basket. It was good to eat, but often sent the Ranger after us. ;-)
Anyhow, glad to see Robert still has his hunger for interesting stories.
Do you?
If you think you have got it. I mean, really, really go it and are interested in helping tell the story of Microsoft through either Channels 9 or 10, let me know.
I'm hiring.
