Well after this week's battle wth the flu, I am finally getting back on track.  I'm still really worn out though.  I pride myself in rarely getting sick.  Heck, it was just a couple of weeks ago that I was bragging to my Dad about only using one sick day in the last 10 years at Microsoft.   I think this is the first time though in my adult life that I've ever had the flu and it definitely was a doozie.

So last week due to the flu I missed most of Wednesday and all day Thursday/Friday and finally what must have been a fabulous group party on Friday night.   Even my boss was surprised...  While talking to Steve Friday morning over the phone he joked, "I knew you must be really sick when I didn't even see you on mail for a whole 24 hours".   I'm actually going to start digging into mail later this afternoon and try and get my inbox back down to zero.  Really looking forward to getting back at work.

On the new home front progress continues to be made.  Lauri has been very busy packing up the kitchen along with the rest of the home, meeting with folks over at the new place, scheduling utility changes and doing an amazing job keeping the trains running on time.  Friday afternoon I ventured out to sign the final paperwork to sell this home and also to buy our new home.  

Hopefully a week from today, we're actually in the new place. ;-)
